Are you an employee who takes on too much?
Sometimes I wake up ridiculously early and start thinking about all the things I would like to accomplish that day. Do I work until a project is finished or just give a few hours to each project in hopes that they will get done in a timely matter? Certain projects are enjoyable as well as challenging and others, not so much. But, the feeling when you have completed any project is rewarding!
Don't be an overachiever.
We tend to hold ourselves to unrealistically high standards, that can lead to burn out very quickly. We start feeling resentful about waking up thinking about work or spending our weekends trying to catch up with it all. Prioritizing what really matters will help you get closer to your goal with hopefully the results you are looking for that will help you and your business.
Set realistic goals. Don't push yourself so hard that you fall short and your work quality diminishes. Slow progress is better than no progress, build on what works for you.
