Refrigerator Etiquette at Work
Is this saying posted on the refrigerator in the break room at your place of work. If so, and people are still leaving their abandoned, unmarked containers full of rotting food for someone else to clean up, have your cleaning service do the dirty work.
Give your refrigerator a break, it is the hardest working appliance in the kitchen and it deserves to be clean and fresh. In a perfect world they would bring, eat and take home their containers all in the same day.
The Last Chance Shelf
Designate an area or shelf and put a remove by date on it, and throw it away if it's not removed by then. They were warned so if they want to keep grand-ma's favorite container, they will take it home.
Be sure to check the expiration date on coffee creamer or milk, they can get kind of chunky if left too long. And seriously, who is going to use all of those catsup and taco sauce packets? Throw them out. And, don't forget the box of baking soda to help with the mixture of all those great smelling lunches mixing together and making the fridge smell a little funky.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there. Enjoy your day and try to stay "Cool".
