Is your business working harder than ever, or are you playing catch up with projects you have been putting off? These are challenging times, where our normal lives have changed, and we have been asked to adhere to different rules concerning our business and personal lives. Has your business had to make many changes? Many businesses are offering support to all the various emergency departments and medical personnel, as well as to their friends and neighbors. A little kindness goes a long way to those who are putting their lives at risk every day.
Catching up on projects allows us to feel a little sense of accomplishment, and adds just a little bit of normal to our days. While we are quaranteening and social distancing ourselves during the day, we work a little on our filing system. While nobody likes to file, ours could use a little updating of necessary paperwork. It helps to keep our minds occupied during this difficult time. At night we are still hard at work keeping the places of business we clean as germ free as possible. Gloves and Clorox wipes are an essential part of everything we do now. How have your work habits changed? Do you have more or less time available to work on projects? As things change on a day-to-day basis, please stay safe.

As we are facing a situation that no one was prepared for, we are following the advice from the Government and local authorities. We're adapting to an ever changing situation and making our health, as well as that of our customers our top priority.
We try to adhere to buying what we need, but not more then we can use. We do not wish to take away from others in need. A couple of days this week, we have been up at 5 am to stand in line at warehouse stores in order to get paper products and supplies we need, to go above and beyond for our customers. Ron and his crews have been putting in long hours making sure all flat surfaces as well as high-touch areas are wiped down with Clorox wipes. We are making social distancing a regular habit when we do have to go out, and hope that everyone is doing the same. Please be safe and Wash Your Hands! Have you noticed how often you want to touch your face, especially since your not supposed too? I feel like I have to conscientiously think about it all day long! And someone coughing or sneezing near me makes me want to run, even though allergy season is in full swing here in Arizona and every other person seems to have seasonal allergies.
Did you know that for every 15 seconds of hand-washing with soap and water, ten times more bacteria are removed from your hands? What if you don't have soap and water handy? I was browsing the internet looking for some other homemade hand sanitizer solutions, since stores seem to be out out of them, as well as some of the recommended items to make the most popular hand sanitizing solution. This is the one that seems to be the most highly recommended: 2/3 Cup of Aloe Vera Gel 1/3 Cup of Rubbing Alcohol 5 to 10 drops of essential oil (optional) I found these other solutions on The Remedy Store Website: Vinegar You may not know this, but vinegar has excellent anti-bacterial qualities. It kills 99 percent of all bacteria. Vinegar does not pollute the environment. It is not toxic and it's safe to eat, so safe for children and pets. The smell will dissipate quickly and leave your hands odorless and bacteria free. You can add a couple of drop of lavender or lemon oil want to. Store it in a small spray bottle. Hydrogen Peroxide (3 percent) This has been proven efficient against bacteria when it comes into contact with it. It causes the bacteria to decompose. If you choose to use this, you need to carry it around in a colored bottle and keep it away from heat sources as it will oxidize it and make it inefficient. Tea Tree Oil You can mix up to 10 drops of tea tree oil with one teaspoon of Castor oil and shake well before you had in six ounces of water. Give a good shake up every time you use it. Tea tree oil can cause skin irritation and the smell is very strong for some people. It thoroughly destroys bacteria as it is anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory. Don't you wish germs were color coded so you could see if what you are using was the doing its job? Twenty seconds of thorough hand washing with soap and water is the most highly effective solution for killing germs. But, since this is not always available along with many germ fighting solutions and toilet paper, I hope these alternatives help. If you are looking for some sweeter smelling sanitizers, check out the website for The Remedy Shop. They seemed to have the most to offer what I was looking for. Did you know that that the work Petrichor describes the distinct scent of rain in the air as it falls on dry soil. It is one of life's pleasing scents that can bring joy to some people. Especially in Arizona, where we never can get enough rain.
If the smell of your office is anything less then joyous, we can help get rid of those disconcerting aromas. Dirty microwave ovens and smelly trash can leave an offensive and unpleasant odor that can take over an entire office. Initiating a scent-free workplace policy may be a helpful solution. But, you will inevitably have some smelly food odors that can stink it up also. We can help deal with these issues promptly and appropriately with a smile on our face to make even the worst smells easier to manage. Call or text us or a free quote and enjoy the rain while it lasts! It is important to note that R & S Commercial Cleaning Service is currently using the appropriate cleaners to kill cold and flu related viruses on high touch surfaces of your building such as door knobs, light switches and faucets. We have over 30 years experience and have always been able to anticipate our customers needs and to exceed their expectations. We are still able to offer green cleaning (unless otherwise requested) that helps keep the environment healthy also.
Business owners should be realizing the importance of a clean office for their employees as well as their clients. It is vital to provide a healthy and clean working environment to employees, since a large number believe that they work more efficiently in a green and clean working environment. Hiring janitorial services from a reputable company can be beneficial as they can provide professional cleaners who understand your cleaning needs and and provide the best quality cleaning services. These are a few things that are recommended to keep you and your co-workers healthy and limit your sick days. 1. Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water. Use alcohol based hand sanitizer when soap and water aren't available. (Remember when you eat out that the menu and and table condiments probably aren't cleaned on a regular basis.) 2. Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. 3. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, then throw it away and wash your hands. Happiness is a choice, stop looking for it and just live it.
Focus on the present. Be thankful for all that you have. Think of all your good experiences today...Was that first sip of coffee extra good? How was that first bite of your lunch? Did you notice how the sun felt on your face or the breeze blowing through your hair? Cheer up people around you. A simple gesture can help people feel hopeful and worthwhile. Play ball with your dog (even if they won't bring it back). Think how happy they will be just spending time with you. Surround yourself with people who make you happy, or challenge you. Exercise if you feel tired. It can be calming and make you feel energetic. Do something that makes you feel better and helps you thrive in all aspects of your life. Take charge of your happiness...Today! |
