Few business owners have a lot of extra time or staff hours to dedicate to regular cleaning of their workplace, which can hurt your business.
One of the biggest objections to hiring an outside service is cost. However, you might be surprised at how affordable cleaning services can be. Compare more efficient use of your time and that of your staff with the reasonable expense of a cleaning service. You might be pleasantly surprised! With a professional janitorial service, you will never have to stay late to clean up or put off other important tasks again. You don't want a potential client to walk into a dirty or disorganized office. They will notice!

April 25th, 2018 is the one day of the year to celebrate all the hard work that helps a business stay running. In this fast paced world, multi-tasking is a must if you hope to survive. They go by many names: secretary, office or personal assistant, supervisor or social media managers. This applies to all people who add value to your workplace!
Are you the one who wears one or all of these hats? Did you have to remind your boss of this special day of recognition for all that you do? If so, then Treat Yourself! You definitely deserve it. (I think I will start with Starbucks and move on from there!) I'm curious to hear how you spent your day. Did your workplace acknowledge you with flowers, gift card, lunch or maybe some time off? Whatever it was, I hope that you feel appreciated for all that you do, and a special thank you to our daughters who sometimes have to troubleshoot technical difficulties for us. We really do appreciate it! Earth Day is this Sunday, April 22, 2018
Let's all show the planet we call home a little appreciation. After all it is one of the few things that we all have in common. There are many little things we can do to help the environment. Drink coffee from a mug instead of a Styrofoam cup. Most recyclers will not take Styrofoam, so there's a good chance that cup will end up in a landfill. Buy a ficus plant. These pollution-fighting plants can even remove formaldehyde from your home or office. Formaldehyde can trigger a few problems such as headaches and breathing problems. Check your air filters on a regular basis. Changing them at least every three months will help keep your air clean, but can also save wear and tear on your equipment. Skip the straw. These seem to be adding to a lot of unnecessary waste lately. Actually use the re-usable bags. Plant a tree. There are probably a million ways you can be environmentally friendly by making a few easy changes to your daily routine. If you work for or in a facility that you would like to be environmentally friendly, call us! We can help. Think green and have a fantastic weekend! Here's a sweet idea: hire us as your janitorial service and free up your evenings and weekends to fire up the grill and try out some new creations. Your employees, clients and families will love it.
It's simple and quick, pick up your phone and call us! The owner will be happy to go over your "menu" and budget concerns to find the perfect "recipe" for your office. We can be endlessly customizable, adding or subtracting services or "sides" as you want them. And you don't even have to leave a tip for us! (Unless you want to!) Do you need something super flavorful or just a simple blend of services. Like everybody else, we focus on the greens! Green cleaners that remove dirt and grime without the negative environmental impact that some formulas have. Don't be boring, create a satisfying solution that will work with any appetite. With the coming of Spring, comes the dreaded tax day. What a way to ruin a perfectly good ( and short) season!
Since the 15th fell on a Sunday, they changed the day taxes were due to the 17th this year. Were you relieved that you got a couple of extra days to get it together, or did you file your taxes a long time ago? (Being a small business, we are always thankful for the extra time!) Stop and smell the roses (Or at least look at them if they make you sneeze) Even with all the dreaded chores and "have to do lists" looming over you, try not to get so caught up in it that you forget to enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Just a couple of minutes can lighten your whole attitude. Regardless of where the season takes you, we hope that you reach out to local businesses in the community and show your support. We would love to meet some amazing new businesses in the community to work with. Go ahead and embrace all those superstitions swirling around you. It's Friday - Go ahead and make it your Best Day Ever. And may it be a start to a wonderful, wacky weekend!
But why take a chance?
It's that time of year again when you want to throw open your doors and windows to let in the fresh air. But, then inevitably the itchy, watery eyes, runny nose an sneezing starts for all of you who suffer from allergies. (Doesn't the constant sniffing of a co-worker drive you crazy?) It's not very often that you have a group of people together that at least one of them isn't an allergy sufferer. So, it's time to stay on top of the spring cleaning so that your office doesn't become a trigger zone. Brooms and feather dusters can kick up more dirt that they remove, so be sure to vacuum and wipe down flat surfaces with a damp cloth on a regular basis. Blinds should be dusted once a month. Many cleaners may charge extra for this, but well worth it for the time saved in valuable employee work days. This also works on those spreadable germs that are lingering around that can cause colds. Hiring a professional will not only save your employees time, but trained cleaners can maintain your space with less time and effort. Your employees can save time working if the aren't being sidetracked while attempting to clean. We have been cleaning in the valley for over 35 years and are well aware that when the air conditioning kicks on, it will be leaving a layer of dust everywhere. So, keep the boxes of tissues handy and give us a call. While loving our pets is something we do everyday, National Pet Day is celebrated to show some extra attention and love to our best friends. Whether you have dogs and cats or more offbeat animals such as hamsters, iguanas, rats, pigs or whatever...the list goes on. Today you can show them how much you love them by spending a few extra minutes of playtime or going for a walk.
I am lucky that I have a home office! As I write this I have a dog in the doorway and a cat on the back of my chair Although they can be a little messy at times, I don't have to cleanup coffee spills left by them and they interrupt me far less than the humans do! Benefits of bringing pets to work with you are that they are great stress relievers. They can encourage longer work hours and also lower the rate of employee absenteeism. You don't have to worry that they are left alone too long. Increased camaraderie - even if you have a co-worker you can't stand, a sweet dog or a friendly cat can relieve some of the tension and strengthen the work relationship. If your are one of the lucky ones who works in a pet friendly environment, don't worry about a little extra dog or cat hair. We are a professional (pet-loving) janitorial service that has the proper supplies and tools to tackle any mess efficiently. The day to remember all the things you didn't get done on Monday - And will probably put off until Wednesday!
