Have you used those adult coloring books that are so popular right now? They are available in all kinds of topics for favorite books to movies.
In celebration of this day, Crayola is announcing today that it is retiring one of its original colors from the 24 and 64 count boxes in Times Square. Since we are cleaners, I thought it might be helpful to share a few cleaning tips on removing crayon marks off of walls. I think this mostly applies to homes instead of offices, but you never know. You can wipe a little bit of mayonnaise on the spots, let it sit for a few minutes then wipe away. Or Mr. Clean has a magic eraser that works on many spots on the wall, just wet it a little and scrub lightly. These are great and work on other surfaces too. Just check the directions. SUNDAY IS THE START OF BASEBALL SEASON Diamondbacks VS San Francisco Giants at Chase Field (1:10) Are you tired of your cleaning service only coming up to “bunt” instead of taking a” full swing”? Let a “power hitter” come in and “clean up”. We are completely “on deck” to hit a” home run” for your office. FINAL FOUR IS FINALLY HERE There are many basketball events taking place this weekend as March Madness wraps up. From a fan festival in Glendale to free concerts in Margaret Hance park. The weather looks to be perfect. We are there to “clean up” after too many “free throws” of food and candy wrappers in your office. You don’t want your customers or clients to see these! We can cover “zone defense” for your entire office, not just one corner. Receive an “assist” by passing on the cleaning to a professional. Have a safe and relaxing weekend and we’ll see you back here on Monday.

This week has seemed so long! Part of our time this week was spent getting through state testing for our daughter in high school. We got to spend some of our days in Glendale, one of the many cities that we visit every night on our cleaning route.
Glendale is home to Luke Air Force Base, It’s pretty cool to hear the jets fly over. Historic downtown Glendale offers some of the best antique shopping in the valley. Many within walking distance of each other. They also host Coyotes Hockey and Cardinals Football. Along with the Cerreta Candy Company, which has fantastic chocolate candy of all kinds? Made right there in the factory. HELPING OTHERS The Valley of the Sun consists of many smaller cities. Our business is based in Peoria, which is right next to Glendale and they are both right by Phoenix. We like working in all of these local parts of the valley, which stretches all the way to Chandler and Queen Creek. One good thing about being local is that we can be helpful to other professionals. By helping others look for different products or services, people will be more inclined to help you find more business. Everybody can elevate their business to the next level. If there is anything we can help you with today, please contact us, we would love to hear from you! Have a Happy Thursday! Is the dry, breezy weather causing you to blow your nose or making your eyes water? That’s when you know that allergy season is here. The blooming trees are beautiful to look at, but can wreak havoc when the wind blows. Juniper and Ash trees are the main culprits this time of year. Keeping your office and home closed up and the air conditioning on are a little helpful, especially at night when you are trying to sleep.
HOME VS OFFICE Cleaning your office is not the same as cleaning your home. Most people really love having a clean, sanitary home. Maybe you are a little OCD about it even. At work, however it can be distressing when your work place is being cleaned by fellow staff members. Although you appreciate what they are doing there’s no substitute for hiring a professional cleaning service. SPECIALIZED CLEANING Offices have lots of papers and equipment on their desks. Many people eat lunch or snacks at their desks. The keyboard is one of the dirtiest places, with dirt and dust trapped between the keys. Professional cleaners know about these germy places and can keep them clean on a regular basis. The dust this time of year is ridiculous. A good cleaning service will know how to help with that. DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS Office and home furnishings are designed for different routines. Office furniture is much sturdier than your plush and comfy chairs and couches at home. Carpets and floors are going to get a lot more heavy foot traffic. A commercial cleaning service knows that these carpets and furnishings require special care to remove the dirt and germs. Let the professionals do their jobs. Office kitchens and restrooms serve many people throughout the day. Coffee stations and appliances are used constantly. There are more spills, more germs, and more fingerprints from lots of different people going thru your workplace. A BETTER SOLUTION Don’t let your staff take the strain of keeping your office clean and sparkling. (And hopefully a little less dusty!) Hire a green, local janitorial service to help. We can give you a daily, weekly, or bi-weekly cleaning estimate. Gesundheit! A professional janitorial service picks up after hundreds of people. They take on many tasks most people don’t think about or even want to think about! Many office cleaners take on all kinds of duties in addition to their usual cleaning.
They take on window washing, carpet cleaning, and keeping the stairway clean. They secure doors, set alarms, and walk out late working employees if needed. Occasionally the restrooms can be a real challenge and need extra attention. They will be cleaned and disinfected before you come in the next morning. CLEANERS YOU CAN TRUST Locally owned green janitorial services are not difficult to find in the Phoenix area. Quality cleaners you can trust are. We’re here to clean up the mess of your day. If your refrigerator happens to need cleaning out, we can do that too. We’re here to make a difference. We are proud to be a locally owned business! We are lucky to live in a state with such great spring temperatures. Hopefully, everybody had a great weekend and you were able to take advantage of one of the many spring festivals that take place in March and April. Maybe you are caught up in the frenzy of March Madness. Whatever you did this past weekend, we hope it was fun and you are feeling like taking charge of a new week. Hope it’s a great one! From the cacti that comes in every shape and size to the beautiful green forests. Some things in Arizona have never changed, but are ever-changing. There is something to explore from the most southern part of the state all the way up to the four corners area, and everywhere in-between. The sunsets are beyond words! As a local janitorial service that has been in Arizona for over 35 years we have changed our ways of doing things over the years in order to preserve this stunning state.
EVOLUTION OF CLEANING Offices have changed a great deal through the years. Today’s offices are much brighter and nicer places to spend many hours of your day. Many have an open concept that means the office space needs to be neat and tidy. More people are moving about and using much of the same office equipment. This leads to germs being spread very quickly. Green cleaning is a very effective way of reducing staff shortages through illness. WASTE NOT Many businesses recycle and that means employees sort their waste in a different manner. As well as the cleaning service deposits it into a different waste container. Another way for a business to be environmentally friendly is to hire a local “green” cleaning service. They will be more familiar with how they can help your workplace stay green and preserve the environment around you. They will be familiar with cleaners that are free of any environment damaging agents. The janitorial service will also try to shut off lights as they go and not be wasteful with trash bags, paper towels, or water. Many businesses turn off their a/c at nighttime, please be aware that your cleaning service is coming in and the buildings in Arizona get really hot very quickly. Please leave them on a little longer, this will allow them to move quickly and get all the lights and power that they are using off in a more timely manner. GOING HI-TECH Many of today’s janitorial services use backpack style vacuums for heavy duty vacuuming. They are equipped with several filters that compact dirt and dust quickly, not leaving it to linger in the air. These vacuums are much faster way to vacuum a larger area and can get into the most hard to reach areas. We use experienced and dedicated cleaners who use modern techniques to help your office shine. We are proud of our state and want to keep it the way it is. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! GO EXPLORING! Did you know that the Organ Pipe Cactus National located in southern Arizona is a designated UNESCO International Biosphere Reserve? Each reserve is a protected area meant to create a balanced relationship between people and nature. There are 669 biosphere reserves in 120 countries. Arizona has two! The other one is located in Beaver Creek, which is south of Flagstaff. These would both be a great weekend drive.
There are many adventures in Arizona within our own state borders. Wonderful communities that make us proud to call Arizona home. WHAT IT MEANS TO BE LOCAL IN ARIZONA We are proud to be members of the organization Local First Arizona. This is a statewide non-profit organization that works to strengthen communities and local economies by supporting locally owned businesses. Studies show that money stays and re-circulates more often when spent at locally owned businesses. These businesses have more knowledge about how to serve you, they are aware of the problems or interests in your area. Our janitorial service is an independent, locally owned business that employees people to help build a strong economy. We do not pay ridiculously high franchise fees to an out of state company. Instead we put the money towards hiring and training people so that they are knowledgeable in what are important issues that are unique to our state. (Such as dust and pollen in the air causing allergies) Instead of using a big name company, why not try a local service that offers a personal touch in a professional manner. BUY LOCAL, EAT LOCAL, GO LOCAL No matter how big a company is, they would not be complete without services. We all use some sort of business service in our daily lives. From the postal service, internet service, or the people who deliver food or supplies to your home, office, or even the place of business where you buy these items.
Just yesterday alone, I contacted our home warranty service, to call a plumbing service to fix our kitchen faucet. The part (of course) had to be ordered. So that required a call to a manufacturer warehouse to ship the part either by the postal service, fed ex or UPS. Hopefully, the part was in stock and can ship overnight. Cooking should not to be permitted in a kitchen without running water! THAT’S A LOT OF SERVICES TO PERFORM A SIMPLE TASK! New services have continued to grow to meet needs we didn’t even know existed. Service organizations vary in size; some are huge, international corporations and some are locally owned small businesses. Don’t forget the importance of reputation, a company that has been around for awhile builds trust and confidence in their clients. They keep their staff informed and educated to ensure that they deliver what is expected from the service. Do you use in-house resources for your business needs, or do you use seasoned professionals who can get the job done right in a timely manner? Businesses can customize most services to suit your needs. Service options can be scaled to your most basic needs and then extended as you become aware of what is important to you and your business. So whether you are sitting in an office or driving in your car, enjoy all the services that make our lives run easier and more efficiently. Today is the first day of spring. The sun will shine directly on the equator – making day and night almost equal. Spring also means spring training baseball games, more rain, and flowers, and plants starting to bloom.
While you clean out your files and update your computers, let us help put that spring back in your step. We can set you up for a deeper clean; getting all that dust that has accumulated during the winter. Let us put together a cleaning plan that’s right for you. Come to work every day knowing your office was cleaned by professionals that strive to keep your office – Clean, green, and healthy. Clean up your business today for more business tomorrow. Do you ever stop to think about all the things that you touch, that are also the most easily forgotten items that need cleaning?
Maintaining these simple things will help your building look its best, impressing your customers and employees. Entryway windows and doors are the first things people see when entering your office. Dirty hand prints and smudge marks stand out. In order to present a bright shiny view these should be cleaned daily. Door knobs are probably one of the most common things touched on a regular basis. Germs attach to these and can be passed along for days. Need I say more about a sticky door handle? Ugh! Furniture in the reception area should be dusted and vacuumed on a regular basis. Magazines should be straightened up. This looks welcoming to your customers. Blinds should be dusted or cleaned on a regular basis to reduce the sniffing and sneezing associated with dust. It’s your lucky day if you are searching for a professional green janitorial service that won’t miss these forgotten spots. HAPPY GREEN WEEK! Everyone from your local gym to St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City is going green. Whether you are going green in a small way like using recycled plastic containers or installing a geothermal plant to use for heating and cooling, going green is good for you, your employees, and the environment. Plus, you could save some green along the way.
Chances are you are already green in a small way, from the brands of things you buy to recycling and re-using things in a different way than what you originally purchased it for. Thrift stores are now cool; you can buy somebody else’s discards and re-purpose it into something useful for you. The old saying “one person’s trash is another one’s treasure” is still true today. And think of how much “junk” isn’t filling up the landfill. If you are using green products in your own home, wouldn’t it be nice to do the same at your work place? Ask your janitorial service if they use green cleaning practices. This means from their equipment to the chemicals they are using to clean your facility. There are many green options out there. We train our employees in the most modern and effective green cleaning techniques. We work diligently to make sure your customized cleaning specifications are performed to the highest industry standards. Let us be the “Pot o’ Gold at the End of the Rainbow.” |
