National pet day

While loving our pets is something we do everyday, National Pet Day is celebrated to show some extra attention and love to our best friends.  Whether you have dogs and cats or more offbeat animals such as hamsters, iguanas, rats, pigs or whatever...the list goes on.  Today you can show them how much you love them by spending a few extra minutes of playtime or going for a walk.  
I am lucky that I have a home office!  As I write this I have a dog in the doorway and a cat on the back of my chair  Although they can be a little messy at times, I don't have to cleanup coffee spills left by them and they interrupt me far less than the humans do!
