Or as the weather forecasters have called it ~ a real "soaker"! My dogs refuse to step foot out the door as long as it is raining. So even though I have mentioned how to clean up the little surprises they create, I will give you a quick and simple three step clean up again.
I use grocery store shopping bags for the solid waste, and then I toss them out the back door to run to the trash when the rain has let up. (We refer to these as poop bombs!) And then usually a quick swipe of vinegar and water clean up anything else remaining. The sock soakers require just a few more ingredients that you should have around the house. Vinegar and water mixed in half and half solution, some baking soda and some towels or paper towels depending on how big the spot is. Blot up as much of the wetness as you can. Use your vinegar solution to do a little scrubbing with a towel, then blot again. Sprinkle on some baking soda and wait for it to dry - it might take a day or two. Then vacuum it up. There a probably a million different ways you can clean up pet stains! These are a quick and easy method that we use. As always, be sure to test these products on your carpet or floor if you have never used them before. Or you can always check with the manufacturer if you aren't sure and see what they recommend. Using all natural ingredients is important so we don't expose our precious pets to any harmful chemicals as they are at floor level and it will affect them much more than the humans. We are a pet friendly janitorial service! Feel free to call or text us for a cleaning quote for your office or work place. If you are in the Phoenix area, enjoy this wild and wet Wednesday!
