For the Olympic Bobsled teams this job seems equally important. And, without their entire team, nothing would run as smoothly as it does. Whether the reward is satisfaction of contributing to a job well done or a medal, every job performed is important to the bottom line.
Every job is important! We received a note recently from our newspaper delivery guy stating that he would be out of town and hoped that our newspaper delivery wouldn't be late. But, if we did have a problem, he left a phone number for us to call instead of contacting him. This is obviously a person who feels good about what he is doing. His job is important to him and he probably receives little appreciation for all that he does. And, to be honest, I didn't think much about it until now. I do love waking up to a cup of coffee and the paper readily available in just a few short steps. (Alright, it is at the end of the driveway, but I don't have to change out of my jammies to go get it.) Even before he can do his job he depends on a team of people to help him. From the reporters who get the news, to the editors, print people and even the drivers who get it to him in a timely manner so he can package it and get it ready for delivery. Wow, That's a lot of work just so I can enjoy reading the paper!! So, whether you are a one man/woman team or have the support of an entire team around you. Remember to appreciate the all the ones who make your day, job and life easier. They are all Valuable to your life.
