HOW TO HELP YOUR JANITORIAL SERVICE WITH BIDS

​When you are looking for bids to clean your facility, here are a few helpful details that you can provide in order to get an accurate bid.
Start with the gross square footage – break it down by what you want cleaned. For example: stairs, stairwells, closets, walls (washed) etc.  Each building has specific needs; things to consider are how much traffic you will have in and out of the building.  How many restrooms are there?  How many supplies will be used regularly, toilet paper, hand towels, paper towels, trash can liners and hand soap?   Who will provide these supplies?
How often will your office need cleaning?  Nightly, weekly, or bi-weekly?  Who will do this cleaning, if needed, between visits?  How many trash cans need to be emptied or how many desks need dusting? Is there separate trash pickup for recycling?   Do you need just the basics or a more personalized service?  Do you want to include extras such as carpet cleaning, windows or floors scrubbed and waxed on a regular basis?  Or would you prefer a separate fee on an as needed basis.  Did your previous janitorial service miss or fail to do things?
