Have you ever been in one of those moods when you don't really know what's wrong, but you feel irritated with everyone and everything?
I feel as though I have spent the better part of June in some kind of tooth pain. I had a root canal this week and after I don't know how many pain pills and x-rays later, I feel ready to have some fun. Or at least put the distractions of three separate dentists behind me. Have you ever noticed how medieval some dental equipment appears to be? I had my eyes tightly shut, and could hear and feel some the same things I felt as a kid getting dental work done. And what is with that "tarp" they have to stretch across your mouth? Remember that businesses are not run by robots. Real people feel real emotions and don't have switches that turn off these feelings. So, occasionally successful people and businesses go through some hard times. They don't always have the capacity to not be distracted by trivial or irrelevant things that don't apply to business. Everybody gets stuck sometimes. Do Your Best Try to stay focused and stick with your priorities and goals (not on the amount of money you spent on one tooth that could have bought the new kitchen appliance that you need to replace!) Take the right steps to get back to and reach your goals, don't let setbacks take you to far off course. Persist to overcome failures and allow patience to help you overcome hurdles that stand between you and your goals. Distractions will always be in your way, it's how you deal with them that will allow you to bounce back to your original wonderfully creative self.
